A yearly mammogram

I went this week to have my yearly mammogram. The great techs at the Breast Center always seem to make me laugh! This year they asked me if I had implants! Believe me, no one has ever looked at me and wondered, "Hmmm, does she have implants?"

Last year when I went, the tech kept up a friendly conversation about family and Christmas. And as she lifted my breast onto the machine she said, "You got little ones?" At first I was taken aback thinking how bold and rude to say that to me, and yeah, they're little, but they're all I've got! Then I realized that she was asking me if I had little kids!! It was the funniest moment and it sure lightened the experience for me!

So please, be sure you get your yearly exam!! Hopefully it will bring a smile to your face and good health to your life!
