My favorite part of summer is a trip to the beach. I taught summer school this year, so my school year was longer, and all I could think of was...ahhh...the ocean. So, on the last day of summer school, my kids came to help out and 10 minutes after saying good-bye to the last little 1st grader - we took off!!
I love taking beach shots of my kids. Today I'm hooking up with Hey Harriet for Shadowshot Sunday!
Here are my kids and I at the Carmel Beach in California. It's a gorgeous stretch of cool, white sand. It's also a very inviting place for dogs - notice the little doggy paw prints!
It's usually overcast and foggy in the summertime, but we picked a beautiful day for a visit!

Lovely summery beach shadows! I can't wait until winter is over here and I can enjoy the warm weather again. I miss the beach :)

ReplyDeleteMay I have two favorite beaches? Any spot on Lake Michigan along the Third Coast with its mile of sand dunes and Miner's River Beach on Lake Superior.
Me thinks one of those shadows might be longer than yours.
